Telecommunications Engineer - III

Job Title: Telecommunications Engineer - III.
Location: Hartford, CT.

• Design and install the equipment used in transmitting broadband data over in-building networks.
• Work with coax, twisted pair copper or fiber optic cabling and complex networks as well as switching equipment.
• Coordinate installation of new in-building networks or equipment.
• Evaluate multi-tenant (residence and business) buildings to determine compatibility with different networks and systems.
• Manage large build projects involving broadband services, and ensure timely planning and implementation.
• Produce technical documentation to determine build feasibility for candidate properties for broadband services.
• Provide general ad-hoc operational support for local field engineering and sales teams.

• General knowledge & experience with the design and install of in-building network architectures.
• General work area hazard identification & prevention.
• Knowledge & experience with CATV provider termination points (e.g., terminals, pedestals).

• Knowledge & experience with Google Suite and other computer and mobility-based applications.
• Frontline experience with working with customer/clients.

• Must have a four-year college degree or equivalent field experience.

• 5-7 Years.
