Projects range from water and wastewater treatment facilities and pump stations to distribution systems, sewer networks, stormwater systems, remediation sites, and lead service line programs.
This role offers the opportunity to grow technically while taking on increased responsibility through hands-on design, client interaction, and task-level project leadership.

- Performs engineering analyses, data review, and technical reporting for drinking water, wastewater, and stormwater utility projects, including treatment processes, collection and distribution systems, drainage, flood management, outfalls, wetlands, and sewer rehabilitation programs.
- Supports water quality evaluations, hydraulic modeling, and system analyses as required by project needs.
- Conducts site visits, field investigations, and constructability reviews to confirm design assumptions, ensure alignment with site conditions, and refine design criteria.
- Prepares technical specifications, cost estimates, and front‑end contract documents for publicly bid projects. Reviews draft plans, technical reports, and calculations to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and project standards.
- Contributes to regulatory compliance initiatives, including lead and copper rule programs, MS4 and stormwater compliance efforts, and other environmental permitting or reporting requirements. Ensures firm quality standards, safety practices, and design procedures are consistently followed.
- Supports client‑facing work by managing discrete tasks or work packages, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and functioning as a Task Manager when appropriate.
- Mentors and provides technical guidance to junior engineers, reviews their work for quality and completeness, and supports their professional development.
- May contribute to technical papers, presentations, or industry publications. Performs other duties as assigned to support project and team needs.
