Civil - Geotechnical

We are seeking an entry level geotechnical engineer. This position is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career engineer interested in building a strong foundation in geotechnical engineering. & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Geotechnical Engineering required;
  Master’s degree preferred
• Up to five years of relevant experience
• Work closely and maintain constant communication with other engineering and design disciplines within Freeman Companies, as well as outside consultants
• Support field activities including monitoring and logging subsurface explorations
• Perform geotechnical analyses and calculations under the direction of senior staff
• Assist with the preparation of boring logs, technical memoranda, and geotechnical reports
• Support construction and geotechnical monitoring projects as needed
• Demonstrate a strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Civil engineers with a strong interest in geotechnical engineering are encouraged to apply
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office;
  AutoCAD experience is a plus
• Excellent technical, organizational, and communication skills with strong attention to detail
