Senior Lead Consultant, Air Quality Professional

Hybrid based position located in Westford, MA;
Boston, MA;
Hartford, CT;
New York City, NY;
Philadelphia, PA;
Portland, ME; or Princeton, NJ. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full‑time basis. No sponsorship is available for this position.

• Estimating air emissions and conducting engineering evaluations of air pollution sources.
• Preparing air quality permit applications.
• Contributing technical skills on complex projects, including proposal preparation, technical presentations and client meetings.
• Preparing for and participating in meetings with regulatory agencies.
• Conducting site visits to industrial facilities to gather data and inform evaluations.
• Critically reviewing and interpreting local, state, and federal environmental regulations.
• Providing occasional regulatory compliance support in other environmental program areas.

• B.S. or M.S. in Chemical, Mechanical, or Environmental Engineering or a related science discipline (air quality coursework is a plus).
• 6+ years of air quality related experience.
• Strong computing skills, including advanced use of spreadsheets and word processing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, problem‑solving, and organization skills.
• Demonstrated ability to understand, interpret, and apply environmental regulations to real‑world situations.

Base salary range: $97,500 - $126,500 annually. Actual pay may vary based on experience, location, internal equity, market conditions, education/training, and skill level, and does not include bonuses, overtime, or other forms of compensation.
