A leading clean energy technology company is looking for a Senior Instrumentation & Controls Engineer to support the design and delivery of cutting‑edge energy systems across power generation, hydrogen, and carbon reduction applications.
This is a hands‑on, senior‑level role with strong ownership across the full project lifecycle—from design through commissioning and operational support.
The Role- Lead specification and integration of instrumentation, valves, and field devices
- Develop and maintain control system architecture (PLC‑based systems)
- Design and programme PLC/HMI systems (Ladder Logic, Structured Text, etc.)
- Produce key engineering deliverables (P&IDs, loop diagrams, control narratives)
- Support testing, commissioning, and startup activities
- Contribute to SIS / functional safety design and participate in HAZOPs/FMEAs
- Work cross‑functionally with electrical, mechanical, and systems teams
- 5+ years' experience in I&C engineering within power, industrial, or process environments
- Strong background in instrumentation, valves, and control systems
- Hands‑on experience with PLC & HMI programming
- Experience across design, commissioning, and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with process systems and safety standards is beneficial
- Work on complex, multi‑disciplinary energy projects
- Exposure to emerging technologies like hydrogen and low‑carbon power systems
- Opportunity to be involved across the full project lifecycle

- Combination of office, lab, and field‑based work
- Occasional travel required (~10%)
