About the Opportunity

Our Client is seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to support Overhaul & Repair (O/R) operations for a leading aerospace manufacturing client. This role is critical in ensuring product quality, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement across operations, while serving as a key liaison between internal teams, suppliers, and customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure product quality and compliance with FAA, EASA, AS9100, NADCAP, and ISO standards
  • Act as the primary quality contact for customers and suppliers
  • Conduct internal audits and support regulatory compliance initiatives
  • Maintain and manage quality records, manuals, and regulatory documentation
  • Review and approve purchase orders and contracts from a quality standpoint
  • Lead and manage corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to resolve non-conformances
  • Perform supplier evaluations and audits
  • Support inspection activities and assist with teardown reports and quality documentation
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to drive process improvements and quality initiatives

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T), measurement systems and inspection techniques, manufacturing processes and methods, Statistical Process Control (SPC)
  • Experience with AS9100, ISO, and NADCAP quality systems
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills

Preferred Experience

  • Familiarity with FAA/EASA regulations and Airworthiness Directives
  • Experience in aerospace or overhaul & repair environments
  • Background in supplier quality and audit processes

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, and use hands regularly
  • Occasional lifting up to 20 lbs
  • Ability to work in both office and shop environments
