Job Description

As part of Veolia's Industrial Units Directorate (DUI) in Recycling and Valorization, you will contribute directly to the performance and transformation of our waste treatment and valorization facilities. These industrial tools at the heart of the territories combine operational rigor, innovation, and environmental commitment to produce energy, valorize materials, and reduce the environmental footprint. Joining the DUI means participating concretely in a useful industry, at the service of ecological transition.

Based in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region, attached to the Director of the Industrial Unit of our Energy Valorization Unit located in Antibes (06), in compliance with hygiene, safety, and quality system guidelines, your main duties will include:

  • Conducting surveillance rounds of site equipment and performing operational readings
  • Detecting any deviations from the proper functioning of installations and reporting them to the shift leader
  • Performing first-level maintenance operations to address any observed deviations promptly
  • Participating in the formulation of internal intervention requests (DI) (diagnosis established, causes, and symptoms) for potential work to be carried out by the maintenance service
  • Assisting the shift leader in operations such as line shutdown, alternator coupling, steam vapor loss or electrical triggering, degraded operation of the installation
  • Carrying out safety operations for equipment under the supervision of the shift leader
  • In the absence of the crane operator, ensuring the reception, stacking, and loading of boiler groups
  • Performing the loading of by-products and monitoring the supply of reagents
  • Adhering to hygiene, safety, quality, working conditions, and business procedures related to the activity
  • Wearing the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided by the company
  • Temporary position aimed at obtaining a diploma certifying in the field of energy management.
Qualifications

Bachelor's level in the field of automated production system control, electrotechnology, or industrial maintenance with a preferred 2-year experience in a similar position or sector.

You possess a good team spirit, analytical skills, curiosity, and motivation, which will enable you to successfully carry out these duties.
