Civil Engineer - Construction

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer with a PE license to join a well respected, stable company that's grown every year for 5+ years.

This role involves working on various temporary structures, including bridges and deep foundations, and applying engineering principles to solve complex construction challenges.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the planning and execution of construction projects, ensuring compliance with engineering standards and safety regulations.
  • Design and analyze temporary structures such as bridges, cofferdams, and falsework.
  • Manage crane lifts, erection sequencing, and staged construction activities to ensure safe and efficient operations.
  • Conduct site inspections and quality control evaluations to ensure construction work meets project specifications.
  • Collaborate with project management to develop project plans, estimates, and timelines.
  • Provide on-site engineering support and guidance to construction teams during all phases of the project.
  • Mentor junior engineers and support team development through effective leadership and communication.
  • Implement risk mitigation strategies and ensure adherence to safety protocols on all job sites.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license
  • 5+ years professional civil engineer experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Finite Element Analysis Software
  • Bridge experience
