Civil Engineer Intern
The Town of Windsor, CT seeks a Civil Engineer Intern to work part-time, approximately 8 hours per week during the school year, and full time during the summer months. The school year hours can be arranged around classes and school breaks. The summer hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Responsibilities- Assist Town Engineering staff with the design development of upcoming capital projects.
- Assist with construction inspection of ongoing construction projects.
- Assist in the inspection and inventorying of town drainage system components.
- Update and maintain the town’s map inventory.
- Aid overall asset management of the town’s infrastructure.
Pay Rate: $20 per hour.
Successful candidates will be subject to the Town of Windsor background screening process, which includes a criminal background check for candidates 18 years of age or older, a motor vehicle history check, and a pre-employment drug screen (includes screening for marijuana).
