Mechanical Engineer Internship

Work on diverse projects, including commercial building HVAC design. Perform pressure drop calculations, duct sizing, and pipe sizing. Conduct field surveys to gather necessary data for design projects. Work alongside engineers and technicians in a collaborative environment. Engage in hands-on design of HVAC systems. Prepare equipment layouts and designs using AutoCAD. Participate in cost estimating for mechanical systems. Assist with construction administration tasks.

Explore a wide variety of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) work on real client projects.

• Pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 3.0 GPA or higher.
• Proficiency with MS Office programs.
• Class project work related to MEP fields preferred.
• Experience with AutoCAD preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. of equipment.
• Successful criminal background check required.
• Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Demonstrates strong capabilities in HVAC design, including pressure drop calculations, duct and pipe sizing, and equipment layout preparation using AutoCAD. Collaborates effectively in a team environment while engaging in hands-on design and cost estimating for mechanical systems.
