My client is an established multi‑office boutique with an excellent reputation and is expanding and recruiting an extra Investment Banking Analyst in London.
The ideal candidate will have accrued investment banking training at a leading investment or well‑regarded boutique, built up live transactional experience, has an outstanding education and is seeking a new and different investment banking environment.
This firm offers the opportunity to work with high‑calibre (and often retained) clients, work on live engagements almost all the time, enjoy numbers and perform deep company and sector analysis, and gain greater client and senior‑level exposure.
Clients include large cap, listed, mid‑cap, UK and European companies. Projects will span a variety of sectors – Healthcare, Technology, Natural Resources, Industrials and FIG.
Key duties centre on:- Key involvement in the origination and execution of Corporate Finance transactions across multiple sectors
- Production of deep financial analysis, company performance and sector analysis
- Key involvement in the preparation of presentations for clients and regular interaction with them
- Playing an active role in the execution of mandates
- Attendance at meetings
- M&A experience accrued within a leading investment banking firm, working in a sector team, specialist M&A group or country IB team
- Thorough financial analysis experience skills and ability to think commercially
- Extensive experience in preparing presentation materials and advanced financial modelling skills
- Oustanding academic credentials
- Enjoy working in a team and possessing excellent written and spoken communication skills
