Position Summary
Provides financial planning, reporting, and analysis to support business decision‑making. This role is responsible for budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial modeling, while partnering with cross‑functional teams to evaluate performance, identify improvement opportunities, and support strategic initiatives. The position also contributes to month‑end close activities, management reporting, and process improvements within the FP&A function.
Job Description- Assists in the development of financial plans, budgets, and forecasts for the Medicare organization.
- Conducts detailed financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and financial performance evaluation.
- Assists in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasting exercises by monitoring and analyzing actual financial performance against targets.
- Builds and maintains financial models to support planning and decision‑making.
- Partners with business units to provide financial insights and guidance.
- Drives process improvements and automation within FP&A.
- Collaborates across teams and supports team deliverables.
- 0–2 years work experience
- Problem solving and decision‑making skills
- Excel proficiency
- Financial reporting and analysis experience
- Knowledge of accounting and finance concepts
- Healthcare industry experience
- Experience with Hyperion, Anaplan, SAP, or Oracle
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
