We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Assurance Manager to join the Financial Services team in our Hartford office.

Position is hybrid: alternate work between remote and office.

As part of the Financial Sponsors & Financial Services team, you’ll work with leading private equity, venture capital, hedge, real estate, cannabis, private credit, and other alternative investment funds.

You will gain valuable knowledge of the capital markets ecosystem and use it to deliver comprehensive transaction, fund, and portfolio company audit, tax, and value creation solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the Engagement Manager on specific client accounts, taking responsibility for pre‑engagement planning, execution, final deliverable development, and billing and collections.
• Develop a detailed engagement work plan, illustrating budgets and schedules. Monitor project status against the work plan and communicate schedule adjustments to management.
• Develop a professional relationship with the client, gaining the respect and confidence of the client by consistently demonstrating supreme customer service, quality work products, and professional integrity.
• Serve as the prime point‑of‑contact to the client. Ensure that the client is fully informed of engagement progress and logistics.
• Gain the respect and confidence of the Cohn Reznick team through effective client management, timely and accurate communication, and clear direction.
• Prepare timely and accurate bills for professional services rendered.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of work experience in a public accounting firm.
• Bachelor’s Degree and active CPA required.
• Strong experience using Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of audit software such as Case Ware or Pro System FX.
• Exceptional organizational and communication (verbal and written) skills.

In Connecticut, the salary range for an Assurance Manager is $100,000 to $150,000. Compensation within the range will depend upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. Salary is one component of the total rewards package, which includes a discretionary performance bonus, generous paid time off, expanded and inclusive parental benefits, and access to best‑in‑class learning and development platforms.
