The Vernon Public Schools is seeking outstanding candidates for the non-affiliated position of Assistant Director of Business & Finance. The Assistant Director of Business & Finance has major financial duties as delegated by the Director of Business and Finance. As directed, this position will assist and manage all financial programs and systems, administer the business office affairs in such a way as to provide the best possible educational service with the financial resources available.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
• Active Connecticut State Department of Education School Business Administrator (optional)
• Master's Degree in Business, Public Administration, or other related discipline (optional)
• 3 years' successful administrative experience, including finance experience
• Demonstrated knowledge in the following: school law, accounting, finance, facilities management, and personnel management.

Salary and Benefits :
The salary range for this position is $90,000 - $105,000. Benefit Information
