Assistant Controller

Hartford CT
Salary: $100,000 – $115,000
- Develops and maintains internal processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency in financial operations.
- Oversees the creation of periodic reports, ensuring alignment with industry-standard principles.
- Establishes performance metrics to evaluate organizational progress.
- Prepares annual financial plans and projections, highlighting key variances for leadership review.
- Conducts in-depth analysis to support investment decisions, pricing strategies, and contract evaluations.
- Collaborates with external partners to facilitate compliance reviews.
- Ensures adherence to regulatory requirements at multiple jurisdictional levels.
- Undertakes additional tasks as needed to support organizational goals.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency in financial software and standard office productivity tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience.
- 3-5 years of proven experience with expertise in:
- Advanced spreadsheet functions, including data analysis and formula creation.
- Financial and operational software systems.
- Familiarity with integrated business management platforms (preferred).
- Experience in resource tracking and allocation.
