We currently have an exciting career opportunity for a Tax Experienced Associate to join the National Tax team in one of our offices!

Cohn Reznick is a hybrid firm and most of our professionals are located within a commutable distance to one of our offices. This position is considered remote which means it does not require job duties be performed within proximity of a Cohn Reznick office location. However, as a remote employee, you may be required to be present at a Cohn Reznick office with scheduled notice for client work, team meetings, or trainings.

This position will support our National Tax Team, which in turn supports the firm's broader tax practice. The right candidate will have a growth mindset and look for ways to expand their knowledge within both the tax space associated with their specialized services and varying industries. They will also be eager to collaborate on thought leadership, webinars, and seminars while remaining results focused on assisting both internal and external clients in achieving their wide-ranging business goals.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Prepare federal and state income tax returns for partnerships, S corporations, C corporations, and individuals
• Assist engagement team in tax planning for clients, including preparing tax projections and estimated tax calculations
• Build and maintain relationships with clients
• Research federal and state income tax issues and develop conclusions
• Support the National Tax Team with the preparation of internal and external presentations
• Assist the National Tax Team with technical calculations and analysis
• Develop knowledge of complex federal income tax provisions

The successful candidate will have:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university
• CPA, LLM or JD is preferred
• 1-3 years of Tax experience
• Strong verbal and written communications skills with the ability to analyze and communicate complex information via email, phone, and video
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment, both independently and as part of a team
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients and collaborate effectively across teams and with professionals at all levels
• Proficiency with Word, Excel and PowerPoint, as well as tax compliance and research tools such as CCH Access and RIA Checkpoint
