Introduction

The State of Connecticut, Department of Housing (DOH), is currently accepting applications for the position of Staff Attorney 2 in support of the Legal Division, in Hartford, CT.

Position Highlights
  • Full time, 40 hours per week
  • Monday through Friday
  • First shift, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
  • Located at 505 Hudson Street in Hartford, CT

The Role

Under the supervision of the agency’s Legal Program Director, the Staff Attorney 2 will be responsible for:

  • Providing legal advice and counsel
  • Drafting contract documents
  • Assisting with closing financial assistance transactions
  • Acting as a back-up hearing officer, including preparing draft hearing decisions
  • Other duties as assigned
Who We Are

The Department of Housing is the lead agency for housing matters for the State of Connecticut and is responsible for the creation of environmental review records for more than ten (10) federal grant programs associated with affordable housing and community development activities.
