The Environmental Analyst 2 serves on the Client Concierge Team within the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection's Office of Innovative Partnerships and Planning. This full-time, hybrid position manages high-visibility and complex environmental permitting projects, coordinating across DEEP's branches and state/federal agencies to improve regulatory efficiency and transparency. The role involves project management, stakeholder engagement, permit assistance, and support for agency-wide planning and process improvements.
Keyqualifications:
- Six years of experience in technical analysis and interpretation of environmental program data or planning and implementing environmental programs
- College training in a scientific or technical discipline related to environmental field (biological, earth, physical sciences, environmental planning, environmental law, economics, or geography)
- Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
- Ability to understand and interpret legislation and technical data
- Experience with computer software and databases
- Project management and coordination abilities across multiple agencies and stakeholders
