Join our established, collaborative team in a self-contained high school classroom serving 8-12 students with autism and intellectual disabilities. You'll be part of preventing out-of-district placements by providing exceptional, individualized education right here in our community. Our program has a strong track record of success, built on years of experience and a deep commitment to every student's growth.
Exceptional Support & Resources
* Collaborate with a full team: BCBA, instructional support teacher, behavior technician, social worker, speech/language pathologist, OT, and PT
* Work with skilled para educators (including staff with 5+ years of experience)
* Research-based, scripted curriculum you can adapt for your students
* Block scheduling provides meaningful prep time

Certification:
* Current Connecticut Special Education certification OR

HPS is offering a $5,000 sign-on incentive for this role, which is a 10-month position, coinciding with the school year. The salary range for this position is $62,120 - $109,872.
