We are seeking a committed professional to join our team, required to reside within the territory and drive to multiple accounts throughout the region. A valid driver’s license is essential and involves 25% travel outside the territory.
This position posting is location flexible.
Primary Responsibilities- Provide technical, educational, clinical and sales support to help the Region meet Cardiac Ablation Solutions sales and customer service objectives.
- Represent Medtronic CAS during ablation procedures to provide troubleshooting and technical assistance.
- Receive technical inquiries from customers; research solutions to questions or problems (e.g., Catheter, Console, Generator support).
- Educate and train physicians, hospital personnel and office staff on technical matters relating to AFS products and related procedures.
- Conduct one‑on‑one training sessions, in‑service education programs, seminars and/or outside symposiums.
- Assist RM and the field training department in educating/training new Clinical Specialists and Account Managers.
- Provide training resources for hospital staff to enable them to train their personnel.
- Update sales representatives concerning procedures and notify Account Manager regarding issues requiring follow‑up.
- Serve as an effective Medtronic CAS representative to physicians and support staff regarding Medtronic CAS products, service and support.
- Promote the safe and effective use of Medtronic CAS products and related procedures.
- Understand national, regional and territory sales objectives and work in partnership with the Account Manager to achieve or exceed goals.

Minimum Requirements- High School diploma PLUS a minimum of 8 years of work experience in healthcare within an EP, Cath Lab setting or sales in the cardiac field.
- Associate degree PLUS a minimum of 6 years of work experience in healthcare within an EP, Cath Lab setting or sales in the cardiac field.
- Bachelor’s degree PLUS a minimum of 4 years of work experience in healthcare within an EP, Cath Lab setting or sales in the cardiac field.
- Preference for local qualified candidates and those with Medtronic experience.
- B.A./B.S. in nursing, cardiovascular, life sciences, or a related technical discipline with a minimum of four years’ work experience in the cardiac field, hospital/clinic, or sales.
- Pacing school/ATI‑like training program in addition to BQs.
- Proven track record with technical training assignments.
- Experience in the cardiac catheter ablation field, EP lab, or in a hospital/clinic or EP medical sales providing technical/clinical support.
Job Requirements
- Environmental exposure to infectious disease and radiation.
- Clinical Specialists must be within their assigned territory each day to be available for unscheduled needs.
- Will be required to travel outside the territory and possibly overnight.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and active vehicle insurance; driving record will be reviewed.
- Ability to stand/sit/walk for 8 hours a day; use a phone, keyboard, mouse, and interact with a computer.
- Ability to travel up to 80% of the time.
