Position Purpose

At Saint Francis Hospital the Virtual Registered Nurse RN is a key part of our innovative Virtual Connected Care delivery Model. This is a true team approach to patient-centered care and uses technology to support direct care staff and increase patient interaction.

What you will do

* The Virtual RN is connected to the Patient Room virtually with complete access to medical records and performs detailed examinations via advance camara technology.

* They also provide mentoring and support to the direct care nurse.

Minimum Qualifications

* Education:

Graduate of an accredited college or university affiliated nursing program. Specialty credentialing & educational degree according to clinical nursing practice specialty area. BSN graduate preferred.

* Licensure:
Current Licensure as a Registered Nurse RN in Connecticut.

* Certification: BLS certification required.

* Experience:

Minimum 5 years of experience as an RN in health condition management, which must include adult condition management and Hospital experience.

* Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience. EPIC preferred

* This is an onsite position - you will work from a location within the Saint Francis Hospital campus in Hartford, CT.
