Position: Behavior Technician Childcare Experience Needed

Position Overview Schedule & Pay
  • Hours:

    All weekdays Monday through Friday 8am - 6pm
  • Work Setting — you’ll primarily provide services in client’s homes, with some sessions held in our local centers depending on your client’s needs
  • Daily pay access available so you can get paid as you earn
Compensation

$20–$26/hr

  • This is an in‑home role requiring daily local travel. Candidates must reside within our Hartford County service cities that are Granby, Manchester, Marlborough, Middletown, Plainville, Burlington, Canton, and all cities in between
Note

Spanish fluency is required. Spanish speakers earn an additional $0.50/hr.

  • We’ll help you earn your Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification – earn an additional $0.50 an hour upon completion.
What You’ll Need
  • High School Diploma or GED completed
  • 6+ months of experience with kids (paid or volunteer—babysitting counts!)
  • Reliable car, driver’s license, and insurance
  • Willingness to pass background and health checks
  • Successful completion of mandatory training which includes:
    New Hire Orientation, 40 hours of RBT training, Skills Practice, CPR, CPI, and overlaps. You will also need to pass an exam to become a Registered Behavior Technician.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently
  • A big heart, patience, and the ability to keep up with energetic kiddos

    Teach children new skills like communication, sharing, or following directions—often through fun games or activities.
  • Be a Positive Role Model:
    Encourage progress and celebrate small victories every day.
  • Stay Active:

    You’ll be moving around, playing, and engaging throughout your sessions.
  • Keep Things Organized:
    Track what you worked on and how your kiddo did (we’ll train you on this too).
  • Support Families:
    Be part of a team that helps families see real progress and hope.
