You would be responsible for answering phones; schedule test requests and/or provide test results; fax reports to clients; organize courier service to meet client needs; document problems and complaints; initiate corrective action where qualified. Refer unsolved problems to appropriate supervisor. Assist in accessioning/registration. Monitor hard copy reports.
** What You Will Do** :
+ Ensures delivery of Laboratory reports to the appropriate facility by established methods.
+ Files patient orders and/or reports according to established filing system and upon direction, routes files to patient floors or permanent storage locations.
+ Contributes to continuous process improvement of laboratory services using problem-solving skills and a knowledge of services.
+ Communicates client concerns to management using the Process Improvement Record (PIR) to assist with trending issues.
+ Demonstrates problem solving, conflict resolution, and positive communication through teamwork.
+ Assists administrative or Technical Staff with additional reports or projects, as needed.
** Work Hours/Shift:*

** Requirements** :

* Education:
** High School Diploma or equivalent. Associate degree in health-related field, preferred.

* Experience:
** One to three years of experience in data entry/medical office experience.

* Skills:
** Good grammar, spelling skills, strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills required. Demonstrates proficiency in the use of computer systems and computer devices (personal computers, terminals, and printers). Knowledge of medical terminology and medical insurances preferred. Demonstrates functional experience with Windows applications. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
