  • Base Salary Range: $40.00-$45.50/hour

The range above reflects the good‑faith salary range the Company reasonably expects to pay for this position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will depend on experience, skills, education, and other business‑related factors.

This position offers monthly incentive pay based on performance metrics. Sign on bonus up to $7,500 (for eligible external applicants.*). Ongoing referral bonus opportunities. Additional pay included to flex between centers.

Essential Functions
  • Responsible for providing a variety of technical procedures and apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis for our GoHealth Urgent Care patients.
  • Perform and analyze patient x‑rays and report results to Medical Providers.
  • Provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of GoHealth Urgent Care Centers.
  • Support Medical Providers, Medical Assistants, and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization and communication.
  • Patient preparation and rooming: conduct interviews, record medical history, confirm purpose of visit, perform preliminary physical tests (blood pressure, weight, temperature, etc.), conduct point‑of‑care testing (flu, strep, urinalysis, ECG, HCG), and provide patient information to provider.
  • Ensure patients are positioned correctly, push patient in wheelchair when needed.
  • Maintain medical records, scanning charts to patient files, and courtesy call‑backs for patient follow‑up.
  • Follow operating instructions to perform daily controls, calibration of equipment.
  • Maintain QA/QC logs, troubleshoot breakdowns, perform preventive maintenance, submit repair tickets.
  • Collaborate with ordering/treating provider to determine best procedures/views for accurate diagnoses.
  • Support clinic operations to keep center running smoothly.
  • Explain procedures to patients, ensuring comfort and safety, answering questions.
  • Accurately position patients and equipment for optimal imaging results.
  • Select appropriate ionizing factors, adjust radiographic controls to capture high‑quality images.
  • Perform routine maintenance, cleaning of X‑ray equipment, manage supplies.
  • Adhere to strict radiation safety protocols, implement ALARA (as low as reasonably achievable) to minimize exposure to patients and staff.
  • Maintain accurate patient records, log procedures in electronic systems/logbooks.
  • Verify image quality, ensure images sent to radiologists.
Knowledge
  • Knowledge of X‑ray procedures and protocols.
  • Knowledge of anatomy and physiology necessary to perform X‑ray testing including body mechanics and patient movement.
