Virtus Investment Partners is seeking a Compensation Analyst to join our Human Resources team in Hartford, Connecticut. This undergraduate opportunity is designed for a recent graduate, as well as early-career professionals with approximately one to two years of relevant experience, who are interested in building a long-term career path within Human Resources. The Compensation Analyst will support the administration and coordination of compensation programs across the organization.
Working closely with Human Resources and Business Partners the analyst will assist with market benchmarking, annual compensation processes, HR reporting, documentation, and special projects that support Virtus' talent and business strategies. The successful candidate will develop foundational expertise in compensation, HR processes, employee records, confidentiality, and human capital practices while partnering with leaders and teams across the organization. This is an HR compensation role intended for candidates who are motivated to build a career in Human Resources;
it is not designed for candidates seeking a data analyst, data science, business intelligence, technology analytics, or systems-focused career path.

Compensation Program Support
- Support preparation and review of compensation information for salary reviews, incentive compensation programs, and market benchmarking activities.
- Assist with gathering, organizing, and validating compensation information from internal systems and external survey providers.
- Prepare clear HR reporting, presentations, and compensation summaries for Human Resources and business leaders.
- Assist with compensation reviews to support hiring, promotions, transfers, organizational changes, and workforce planning initiatives.
