Data Engineer, Data Analyst
Akkodis is seeking a Data Engineer for a Contract with a client in Hartford, CT. Candidate must have strong expertise in PL/SQL, Python (Pandas/Num Py), and Snowflake to support analysis, automation, and ongoing reporting improvements.
Rate Range: $37/hour to $49/hour;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Job Responsibilities Include
- Develop and maintain PL/SQL components, including stored procedures, functions, and technical documentation.
- Perform data analysis, transformation, and optimization activities across Snowflake and Oracle environments.
- Build Python‑based data solutions using Pandas and Num Py to support automation and advanced analytics.
- Support continuous improvement of reporting processes by simplifying, automating, and enabling self‑service capabilities.
- Coordinate with team POCs on migration plans while debugging issues and applying necessary manual fixes.
- Contribute effectively to an Agile setup by participating in ceremonies and following best practices with Git‑based source control.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Candidate must have 6–8 years of experience in data engineering with strong PL/SQL and Python skills.
- Requires hands‑on expertise in Snowflake, Oracle PL/SQL, and Python (Pandas/Num Py) for development, analysis, and automation.
- Requires proficiency working in Agile environments with experience using Git‑based source control and supporting migration activities.

Pay Details: $37.00 to $49.00 per hour
