Senior Data Engineer; GCP

Job Description

Pay Range: $45hr - $50hr

• Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance data engineering solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Build, manage, and optimize data pipelines using GCP-native tools and services.
• Develop and maintain data models, ETL/ELT workflows, and batch/streaming pipelines.
• Utilize Big Query (BQ) for data warehousing and analytical processing.
• Work with Vertex AI to operationalize ML models and manage deployment workflows.
• Configure and manage IAM, roles, and permission structures across GCP.
• Deploy and orchestrate container-based applications using GKE
  .
• Manage compute workloads using GCP Compute Engine
  .
• Build distributed data processing solutions using Dataproc
  .
• Develop CI/CD automations with Git / Git Hub Actions.
• Ensure adherence to cloud security, cost management, and reliability.

• 8+ years of experience in Data Engineering or Data Analytics.
• 4+ years hands-on GCP experience (IAM, VPC, GCS, Big Query, Vertex AI, GKE, Compute Engine, Git Hub Actions, Dataproc).
• Strong Python, SQL, and ETL expertise.
• Experience with DWH design, distributed systems, and Dev Ops concepts.
• Healthcare domain Medicare STAR rating experience is an added advantage

• Experience with Terraform or Deployment Manager.
• Exposure to MLOps frameworks.
• Knowledge of governance and metadata tools.
