OverviewWe’re looking for a Dev Ops Team Lead to guide and grow our Dev Ops automation and infrastructure practices across on-prem and cloud environments. This role combines hands‑on technical leadership with team guidance, helping drive reliable CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, patching, and deployment at scale.
You’ll partner closely with Infrastructure, Security, and Application teams to improve automation, reduce manual work, and ensure systems are secure, stable, and compliant.
What You’ll Do- Lead Dev Ops automation initiatives across CI/CD, Infrastructure-as-Code, and configuration management
- Design, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows
- Oversee OS and application patching, deployment, and compliance reporting
- Guide OS imaging, application packaging, and release readiness processes
- Support hybrid infrastructure provisioning (on‑prem, VMware, and cloud)
- Act as a senior escalation point for complex deployment, automation, and infrastructure issues
- Mentor and provide day‑to‑day leadership to Dev Ops engineers
- Help define standards, documentation, and best practices for Dev Ops operations
- Participate in on‑call and incident response as needed
- 5–10 years of experience in Dev Ops, Systems Engineering, or Infrastructure roles
- Prior experience as a senior engineer, technical lead, or team lead
- Strong experience with CI/CD tools (Git Lab CI, Jenkins, Git Hub Actions, Azure Dev Ops, or similar)
- Hands‑on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform preferred; Ansible required)
- Scripting skills in Power Shell and Bash or Python
- Solid background in OS deployment, patching, and software deployment
- Experience working in VMware and hybrid environments
- Comfortable troubleshooting complex infrastructure and automation issues
- Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills
- Experience with PXE/iPXE or bare‑metal provisioning
- Familiarity with Linux patching and package management
- Experience with cloud platforms and VDI/Citrix environments
- Knowledge of change management and security best practices
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field preferred
- Equivalent experience and certifications will be considered
