• Salary: $85,434 – $107,128 per year

The Salesforce Administrator is part of the DGOE Release Management Support Team and provides day‑to‑day administrative support for Salesforce‑based applications used across multiple state agencies. The role focuses on platform stability, release assistance, and user support while adhering to security and governance standards. This position is ideal for individuals early in a Salesforce career who desire experience with enterprise, mission‑critical systems in a structured government environment.

• Provide administrative support for Salesforce environments (DEV, TEST, PROD).
• Manage users, profiles, roles, permission sets, and access requests.
• Configure standard Salesforce features (objects, fields, page layouts, validation rules, flows).
• Support release management activities – sandbox refreshes, change sets, deployment coordination.
• Assist with system testing, regression testing, and post‑deployment verification.
• Monitor system health and troubleshoot basic Salesforce issues.
• Support data management – imports, updates, quality checks.
• Create and maintain reports and dashboards.
• Document configurations, procedures, and support processes.
• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, architects, and security teams.

• Five (5) years of experience in information technology operations support, programming, or another IT related support area.

• Two (2) years of that experience must involve basic technical support work such as help desk functions, hardware/software installation and maintenance, data communications, microcomputer support, production control, or programming.

• College training in management information systems, computer science or information technology (15 semester hours = 0.5 year of experience, up to 4 years for a bachelor’s).
• Master’s degree in management information systems, computer science or electrical engineering can substitute for the general and special experience.
• For state employees: two (2) years as an Information Technology Technician may substitute for the experience requirements.
• Completion of an approved Information Technology Analyst Trainee program.
