Position Summary
The Connecticut Department of Social Services is seeking two experienced UAT-focused Test Analysts to support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for the Child Support Modernization initiative.
The selected candidates will collaborate with Child Support program staff, vendors, and technical teams to ensure the solution meets business, operational, and federal requirements.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience supporting UAT for Child Support modernization implementations, particularly with Protech's Child Support Platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) across Child Support modules
- Work with Child Support SMEs to develop UAT scenarios and test cases based on business processes
- Execute test cases, document results, and log defects
- Support defect triage, retesting, and validation of fixes
- Validate system functionality against Child Support policies, workflows, and federal requirements
- Provide UAT readiness support, daily status updates, and test cycle closeout
- Assist with statewide rollout testing and post-go-live stabilization
- Prior experience supporting UAT for Child Support Modernization implementations
- Hands-on experience with Protech's Child Support Platform
- Strong Child Support program knowledge, including:
- Policies
- Workflows
- Case management operations
- Experience working directly with Child Support program staff and SMEs
- Familiarity with Federal OCSE (Office of Child Support Enforcement) requirements and reporting
- Experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as:
- Jira
- Xray
- ALM
- Experience supporting large-scale government system implementations
