The Enterprise Data Science team is a multi-disciplinary team of data experts that work together to convert vast amounts of business and consumer data into actionable insights, improved business decisions, and positive customer interactions. The team’s analytics are used to build, retain and strengthen our relationship with individual clients, plan sponsors and distribution partners, and to improve our business processes across the enterprise.
The role is responsible to identify opportunities for efficiency and effectiveness while delivering output to our business partners, from the point of data ingestion, transformation, computation, through business consumption.
- Building custom Python packages/libraries
- Develop in-house ML models including testing and validation
- Design, set-up, manage and/or use git repos
- Orchestrate and synchronize AI artifact versioning (data, model, software and infra)
- Manage and optimize GPU and CPU clusters
- Identify opportunities for efficiency and effectiveness
- Deliver output to our business partners, from the point of data ingestion, transformation, computation, through business consumption.
- 5+ years of experience with software development and testing in Python, including object-oriented software engineering.
- 5+ years of MLOps experience, including:
- At least 2 years with cloud-native infrastructure for machine learning and NLP (including natural language generation).
- Experience with data operations involving varying sensitivity levels (PII/HIPAA/public).
- 4 years of combined experience with AI, NLP, and machine learning.
- Excellent communication skills and experience working on teams.
- 2+ years of experience working with data engineering and data governance teams.
- 2+ years managing teams doing data work (data science, data engineering, ml engineering, ml ops, etc.).
- Experience working with security, risk and compliance teams to simultaneously optimize efficiency and risk mitigation.
- Experience with open and closed-sourced pretrained language model management and versioning.
