Systems Engineer, Cloud Computing: Infrastructure & Operations
Our client, a leading financial services firm, is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer. This role focuses on Microsoft enterprise technologies, automation, hybrid cloud infrastructure, reliability, and security, with an emphasis on designing and operating large-scale environments.

Job Function:
- Design and manage hybrid infrastructure across on-prem environments and Microsoft Azure
- Administer Microsoft 365 services including Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, and One Drive
- Manage identity and access using Azure Active Directory (Entra )
- Automate infrastructure and processes using Power Shell and Infrastructure-as-Code (ARM/Bicep)
- Monitor system performance, security, and availability across the environment
- Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and act as a senior escalation point
- Support endpoint management with Intune and Autopilot
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to system improvements and modernization initiatives
Job Requirements:
- Strong experience in enterprise infrastructure engineering within Microsoft environments
- Expertise with virtualization platforms, preferably VMware
- Proficiency in Power Shell scripting and automation
- Experience supporting security initiatives including vulnerability remediation and infrastructure hardening
- Proven ability to lead infrastructure or cloud modernization projects end-to-end
- Strong Windows Server and hybrid cloud experience with exposure to Azure (Azure Arc, Automation, Monitor a plus)
- Experience in regulated environments such as financial services or insurance preferred
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally, manage multiple priorities, and operate independently
