Position

Summary

CVS Pharmacy Inc., a CVS Health company, is hiring for a Mgr,Scrum Master position in Hartford, CT. The role involves planning and guiding technology projects to improve technical capabilities related to project management. Duties include developing software solutions to meet business requirements, assisting with project execution coordination to ensure adherence to schedule and scope, assessing feasibility of solution design and preparing technical design documentation, planning stages of application development to improve functionality and features with a focus on performance, reliability, and maintainability, providing program and project oversight, direction, and administration across full project life cycles, including team formation, planning, requirements, design, build, test, deployment, and warranty support on medium to large projects, writing and reviewing high quality code and performing unit and/or automation testing, conferring with project personnel to identify and resolve problems, monitoring progress milestones and deliverables, supporting applications, systems, and databases used for healthcare activities, collaborating with cross‑functional teams on applications development, technical requirements, code review, project deliverables, quality assurance, and software development best practices, and mentoring junior team members.

Telecommuting is available. Multiple positions.

Responsibilities

The role requires the candidate to plan and guide technology projects, develop software solutions, ensure project execution adheres to schedule and scope, assess feasibility and document technical designs, improve application functionality, oversee project life cycles, write and review code, conduct testing, resolve issues, monitor milestones, support healthcare applications, collaborate across teams, and mentor junior members.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronics, Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • At least five (5) years of experience in each of the following:
    Java or J2EE;
    Web services and technologies;
    Project management, including coordinating with other functional teams; and requirements gathering, system analysis and performing end‑user requirement analysis.
  • At least two (2) years of experience with each of the following:
    Resource management, including preparing plan for people, space and infrastructure; and leading team coordination and stakeholder management, including coordinating and managing expectations and relationships with all internal and external stakeholders.
Pay Range

$/year to $/year. This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full‑time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short‑term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.

This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
