Technical Scrum Master

A healthcare insurance provider is seeking a Technical Scrum Master with deep experience in the data domain and cloud technologies—preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP)—to drive delivery for a team in a heavily data-reliant organization. The ideal candidate will be able to come on-site in Hartford, CT twice a week but this role may be remote for the right candidate. You will lead daily standups and manage a 3-week sprint cadence, facilitate all Scrum ceremonies (planning, reviews, retrospectives), remove impediments, and foster continuous improvement while ensuring adherence to Agile best practices.

With strong technical aptitude and project management skills, you'll understand the team's work, summarize complex technical issues, and report out progress, risks, velocity, and key metrics to stakeholders. Acting as a liaison between engineering and the business, you will represent the team, communicate clearly about challenges and trade-offs, and help prioritize and refine the backlog to keep data-centric, cloud-native initiatives on track.

The ideal candidate can speak confidently on behalf of the team's work, translate technical problems for non-technical audiences, and cultivate a high-trust, collaborative environment optimized for delivering value on GCP.
