Location:
Hybrid schedule (3 days onsite). Hartford, CT Hunt Valley, MD St Paul, MN Atlanta, GA

Must have:
- Policy center experience
- Guidewire DEVELOPMENT Experience and Integration - not just support. Must be able to develop guidewire code and api's, etc.
- Must be guidewire certified, not specialist certified. +1 if they are ACE Certified
- Must be in or willing to relo to Hartford, Atlanta or Maryland (3 days on site).
- Must be hands on, but also able to lead a small offshore team.
A Player-Coach needs to be able to open the code and fix a broken Apache Camel route in the Integration Gateway. Top 3 Required Skills
- Guidewire Policy Center (Expert/P4) – 8+ years
- Guidewire Integration – 5+ years
- Guidewire Advanced Product Designer – 1+ years
- Guidewire Certification
Role
Summary:
As a Software Development Lead, you will serve as a subject matter expert responsible for developing and configuring software systems throughout the product lifecycle. You will lead the design and implementation of innovative Guidewire solutions while managing team decisions and stakeholder expectations. This role requires a blend of high-level technical architecture and hands-on mentorship to ensure project goals are met within a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and implementation of innovative software solutions that meet client needs.
- Facilitate team meetings to encourage collaboration and ensure alignment on project goals.
- Mentor team members to enhance their skills and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Analyze project requirements and translate them into technical specifications for the development team.
- Evaluate and integrate new technologies to improve system performance and user experience.
- Responsible for team decisions, managing stakeholders, and contributing to key decisions.
