Position Summary

CVS Pharmacy Inc., a CVS Health company, is hiring for the following role in Hartford, CT.

Mgr, Scrum Master to plan and guide technology projects to improve technical capabilities related to technical project management. Telecommuting available. Multiple positions.

• Develop software solutions to meet business requirements and assist with project execution coordination to ensure adherence to schedule and scope.
• Assess feasibility of solutions design and prepare technical design documentation.
• Plan stages of application development to improve functionality and features with a focus on performance, reliability, and maintainability.
• Provide program and project oversight, direction, and administration across full project life cycles, including team formation, planning, requirements, design, build, test, deployment, and warranty support, on medium to large projects.
• Write and review high quality code and perform unit and/or automation testing.
• Confer with project personnel to identify and resolve problems.
• Monitor progress milestones and deliverables.
• Support applications, systems, and databases used for healthcare activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on application development, technical requirements, code review, project deliverables, quality assurance, and software development best practices.
• Mentor junior team members.

• Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronics, Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Requires five (5) years of experience in each of the following:
  • Java or J2EE;
  • Web services and technologies;
  • Project management, including coordinating with other functional teams;
  • Requirements gathering, system analysis and performing end-user requirement analysis.
• Position also requires at least two (2) years of experience with each of the following:
  • Resource management, including preparing plan for people, space, and infrastructure;
  • Leading team coordination and stakeholder management, including coordinating and managing the expectations and relationships with all the internal and external stakeholders.
