Test Automation Engineer Playwright CNET
Location Hartford CT
Experience 8-10 years
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop UI automated test scripts using Playwright with CNET
- Design and Develop API automated test scripts using Rest Assured
- Collaborate with developers and QA leads to understand business and functional requirements
- Integrate test automation into CICD pipelines eg Azure Dev Ops Jenkins
- Maintain and enhance existing test automation frameworks
- Identify test scenarios suitable for automation and prioritize accordingly
- Perform functional regression and endtoend testing of the application under test
- Document test cases bugs and test execution results clearly
- Participate in code reviews and ensure automation best practices
- Troubleshoot failures and identify root causes quickly and effectively
Required Skills
- 5 years of experience in test automation
- Strong handson experience with Playwright using C
- Solid understanding of NET Framework Core
- Experience testing REST APIs and using tools like Rest Assured or automated API testing frameworks
- Proficient with CICD tools such as Azure Dev Ops Jenkins or Git Hub Actions
- Experience in writing end to end and integration tests in NET
- Familiarity with BDD frameworks like Spec Flow optional
- Strong debugging problem solving and analytical skills
- Exposure to containerized environments Docker Kubernetes is an advantage
- Knowledge of SQL and working with databases
Soft Skills
- Good verbal and written communication
- Ability to work independently and in an Agile Scrum team environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
