The Department of Children and Families (DCF) is seeking an experienced BI / Tableau Administrator to support and maintain enterprise reporting and analytics platforms that power critical child welfare services across Connecticut.
This role will be responsible for administering Tableau Cloud environments, supporting Azure-based reporting infrastructure, troubleshooting data and integration issues, and ensuring reliable delivery of business‑critical dashboards and analytics solutions used by thousands of agency employees.
Key Responsibilities- Administer Tableau Cloud sites, projects, users, groups, permissions, and security.
- Monitor platform health, extract refreshes, subscriptions, and scheduled jobs.
- Troubleshoot Tableau performance, connectivity, reporting, and user access issues.
- Support report developers, analysts, and business users.
- Deploy and promote reports across Development, Test, and Production environments.
- Support Azure SQL Database environments and enterprise reporting systems.
- Monitor and troubleshoot Azure Data Factory pipelines and data integrations.
- Investigate reporting, data quality, and integration issues.
- Collaborate with development, database, reporting, and integration teams.
- Support Mule Soft Runtime Fabric environments impacting reporting platforms.
- Participate in all phases of the SDLC.
- Create and maintain technical documentation.
- Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and best‑practice recommendations.
- 5+ years of Tableau Cloud Administration and Support
- Experience supporting enterprise BI, reporting, and analytics platforms
- Experience with Azure SQL Database or similar relational databases
- Experience working with Salesforce data, objects, relationships, and reporting environments
- User management, security, permissions, and access administration experience
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem‑solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and mentor junior team members
- Mule Soft Runtime Fabric / Mule Soft Integrations
