Technical Business Analyst – Healthcare Interoperability
Our client is seeking two seasoned Technical Business Analysts with deep expertise in healthcare data and interoperability standards. This role is ideal for professionals who thrive in Agile environments, collaborate across distributed teams, and bring strong analytical and technical skills to optimize clinical workflows and data exchange.
Key Responsibilities:- Analyze and optimize healthcare workflows and data exchange processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, document, and manage technical requirements.
- Work with secure data exchange protocols and healthcare interoperability standards.
- Map API request/response data using XML/JSON formats and FHIR resources.
- Run queries against SQL and No
SQL databases; use tools like Postman and SoapUI. - Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges in real-time and batch data exchange.
- Support Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders and manage expectations.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience, with 4+ years as a Business Analyst in the healthcare industry
- Strong hands-on experience with Healthcare/Clinical data
- Deep understanding of HL7 standards (e.g., HL7 v2, FHIR, CDA)
- Experience with FHIR APIs (Real-time and Bulk)
- Familiarity with secure data exchange protocols
- Proven success in remote/distributed teams
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Proficiency in technical tools: SQL/No
SQL, Postman, SoapUI, XML/JSON - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience working in Agile environments
Qualifications:
- Experience with clinical interoperability platforms and EHR/EMR partners
- Familiarity with CMS interoperability guidelines
- Knowledge of healthcare compliance (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR)
- Experience using HL7 Implementation Guides (e.g., Da Vinci RA, DEQM, VBPR)
