The Portfolio Analyst serves as a data and financial manager within the IT Claims & Operations organization.

This role is responsible for supporting Lean Portfolio Management (LPM) practices while also engineering the future of how IT portfolio, operations, financial accountability, and executive insights are delivered. The position focuses on the emerging intersection of portfolio analytics and engineering enablement, partnering with technical teams to develop scalable processes and automated usage patterns.

Essential Accountabilities

Maintain the interface between Agile delivery metrics and traditional corporate financial requirements (monthly, quarterly, and forecasting). Support senior portfolio analysis and financial hygiene across value streams and Agile Release Trains (ARTs). Collaborate with Finance and Executive Leadership on strategic budget planning, project tracking, AI enablement, and financial variance reporting. Innovate new reporting presentations utilizing automated and AI‑enhanced interactive dashboards that provide IT leadership with high‑fidelity visibility into portfolio health, strategic investment alignment, and realized business outcomes.

Develop and implement innovative ideas leveraging next‑generation AI tools with portfolio financials and IT development analytics.

  • 2. Portfolio Analytical Engineering

Design and deploy new tools and processes that automate financial reporting and integrate portfolio data, resulting in operational efficiency. Serve as an innovator and developer for portfolio tooling, building prototypes that accelerate insight delivery and reduce manual intervention. Translate technical and AI concepts into portfolio‑relevant insights, enabling leadership to track the adoption and impact of AI‑enabled initiatives. Help develop new IT management patterns that will emerge from new AI development models (Agents, Orchestration, Automation).

Identify and implement opportunities to modernize the management and consumption of portfolio data.

  • 3. Leadership & Delivery Strategic Alignment

Actively engage with delivery teams to assist with portfolio management, IT contracts, resources, allocations, and directly support business and leadership to align strategy themes. Partner with architecture, engineering, and development teams to ensure the portfolio actively supports IT delivery goals in the new AI‑driven development. Sustain a CIO‑level portfolio view, preparing & automating materials for portfolio health.
