Duration: 6-12 Months Salary Range: $45 - $49/hr (all inclusive) Introduction
We are seeking an experienced Apigee SRE Engineer / Platform SME to manage, support, and optimize Apigee API platforms on GCP. The candidate will ensure high availability, performance, and security of the API ecosystem.
RequiredSkills & Qualifications
- Strong experience with Apigee (Edge/X/Hybrid).
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Knowledge of API management and API lifecycle.
- Experience in Kubernetes, Docker, and microservices architecture.
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
- Prior work experience at client or in client's industry.
Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.
PreferredSkills & Qualifications
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git Hub Actions, etc.).
- Understanding of security policies (OAuth, JWT, mTLS).
- Experience in capacity planning and performance optimization.
- Manage and support Apigee Edge / Apigee X / Hybrid deployments.
- Monitor API performance and troubleshoot issues in production environments.
- Implement SRE practices such as SLIs, SLOs, alerting, and incident response.
- Work closely with development, cloud, and Dev Ops teams.
- Handle upgrades, patching, and capacity planning.
