• Work in a Linux terminal (CLI) environment and perform basic file operations (create, copy, move, delete files/folders).
• Understand and manage file and directory permissions, ownership, and basic user management.
• Use common Linux utilities such as grep, top, df, ps, and chmod.

• 2. Basic Networking Fundamentals
• Understanding of IP addressing, subnetting, and the meaning of private/public IPs.
• Knowledge of DNS (Domain Name System) and how name resolution works.
• Familiarity with HTTP/HTTPS, ports, and firewalls at a high level.

• 3. Scripting Basics
• Ability to read and write basic shell scripts (Bash) to automate repetitive tasks.
• Some hands-on experience or learning in Python for simple scripting or tool use.
• Comfortable using Git for source code management, including cloning repositories, committing changes, pushing/pulling code, and creating branches.
• Familiar with Git Hub.

• 5. CI/CD Concepts
• Basic understanding of Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD).
• Awareness of tools like Jenkins, Git Hub Actions, or Azure Dev Ops, even if not deeply experienced.
• Understand how code moves from development to production in an automated way.
• Awareness of Docker and the basic purpose of containers, and a high-level understanding of containers vs. virtual machines.
• Basic idea of Docker images and containers.
• Awareness of cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure; understanding of virtual machines, storage, and networking in the cloud, and why organizations use the cloud (scalability, flexibility, cost-efficiency).

• Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
  Basic idea of Terraform for defining cloud infrastructure.
• Monitoring and Logging:
  Awareness of tools like Prometheus and Grafana.
• Basic YAML knowledge:
  Helpful for Kubernetes and Git Hub Actions.

• Soft Skills
• Willingness to learn, good problem-solving attitude, ability to follow documentation and troubleshoot issues, and comfort working in a team and asking questions when stuck.
