Responsibilities- Building and maintaining constructive and effective relationships with underwriters
- Leveraging boat/yacht P&C insurance knowledge and expertise to actively bind incoming new business opportunities and service existing accounts
- Fostering an environment of personal accountability by managing appropriate system records of service, marketing, and policy communications with clients and carrier underwriters
- Assess eligibility of potential clients by phone or email based on underwriting guidelines
- Collect detailed risk and underwriting information including but limited to survey data and loss history
- Develop and deliver formal proposals of insurance including details of coverages, limits, deductibles, and other pertinent information
- Conduct regular follow up calls and emails with customers to communicate and clarify details of coverage and respond to inquiries
- Valid P&C license
- 5–7 years’ experience of Personal Lines client management experience
- Extensive knowledge of Boat/Yacht Lines coverage, rate analysis/procedures
Base pay ranges from $51,000 to $65,000 plus discretionary bonus. The total compensation package may also include benefits, vacation, holidays, and other elements dependent on the position offered.
