We are seeking a senior family law attorney who wants a full, substantive practice inside a strong firm environment.

Senior attorneys at Freed Marcroft manage complex matters independently and are expected to practice with judgment, restraint, and candor. Our infrastructure exists to support active, meaningful caseloads, allowing attorneys to focus on strategy, clients, and outcomes rather than administrative friction.

• Independently manage complex divorce and family law matters
• Lead litigation, negotiation, and strategic decision-making
• Counsel clients through high-stakes decisions with clarity
• Collaborate with colleagues in a low-drama, high-trust environment

This role is: a full, engaged practice with real responsibility

This role is not: a placeholder, partial docket, or wind-down position

• 5–10 years of family law experience
• Connecticut bar admission
• Demonstrated ability to handle contested matters independently
• Strong writing, judgment, and client-management skills

• ~1,400 billable hours
• No required rainmaking (origination credited if applicable)
• Hybrid structure with strong systems and support
• Sophisticated clients and complex work
