Job Overview
A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney specializing in Estate Planning and Probate in Connecticut. The role involves assisting clients with crucial family and wealth transfer decisions, utilizing strong communication and writing skills to develop tailored planning documents.
Duties- Assist clients with personal and wealth transfer decisions.
- Develop customized planning documents, memos, and flow charts.
- Learn and apply sophisticated estate and tax planning techniques.
- Create unique solutions to meet client needs.
- Law degree and admission to the Connecticut Bar, or eligibility for admission through waiver.
- 2-5 years of experience in estate planning.
- LL.M. in tax or estate planning is a plus.
- Law degree
- Admission to the Connecticut Bar or equivalent
- Strong writing skills
- Organizational and analytic skills
- Knowledge of estate and gift tax concepts
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Problem-solving abilities
