Position: Employment Litigation Associate

This position will sit in our Hartford, CT location.

For Connecticut, the expected salary range for this position is between $180,000 - $217,500 This position is also eligible for annual bonuses. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Defend employers in all aspects of lawsuits and administrative charges involving a broad range of employment-related claims.
  • Provide advice and counsel to employers on every aspect of the employment relationship.
Skills and

Educational Requirements:
  • JD from an ABA accredited law school and excellent academic credentials.
  • 5+ years of litigation experience, employment law background strongly preferred.
  • Will consider judicial clerkship experience as litigation experience.
  • Active CT bar admission or ability to obtain admission quickly.
  • Understanding of current court and employment-related agency (state and federal) procedures.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to excellence.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills.
  • Commitment to professionalism, collegiality, and teamwork, along with ability to work independently.
