Our client, a prominent AmLaw 200 firm, is seeking a talented Associate Attorney with litigation experience to join its Hartford office supporting its commercial litigation practice
. This opportunity is ideal for a junior associate who is eager to develop a broad‑based litigation practice within a collaborative, high‑performance law firm environment. The role offers hands‑on experience handling matters in both state and federal courts
, with meaningful responsibility and direct client interaction.

• JD from a top‑tier law school with an excellent academic record
• Active Bar Admission in Connecticut
  , in good standing
• 1‑3 years of substantive commercial litigation experience

• Experience handling litigation matters in state and federal courts within a law firm setting
• Exposure to employment law‑related issues is a plus, but not required
• Judicial clerkship experience is valued, though not mandatory
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  , with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Demonstrated commitment to client service
  , professionalism, and high‑quality work product

• Handle sophisticated commercial litigation matters in state and federal courts across Connecticut
• Draft pleadings
  , motions
  , briefs
  , discovery materials and other litigation‑related documents
• Participate in depositions
  , hearings
  , and court proceedings as experience allows
• Conduct legal research and support case strategy development
• Support all phases of case management
  , including strategy development and trial preparation
• Work closely with senior litigators on complex disputes with high‑profile clients
