Compensation$100,000 - $135,000 yearly + bonuses
Responsibilities- Assist clients effectively by understanding their needs, analyzing the situation, then strategizing and deciding on a proper course of action
- Ensure clients are effectively represented at court hearings as needed
- Draft, review, and finalize estate planning documents, including wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives.
- Review and finalize probate and bankruptcy documents for filing.
- Provide legal advice and counsel to clients on estate planning, probate, and bankruptcy matters.
- Meeting with Clients and Prospective Clients throughout the day.
- Collaborate with the team to build and maintain strong client relationships through excellent communication and quality client service.
- Candidates should be great communicators, specifically in situations when emotions and stress are high
- Active member of the ABA (American Bar Association)
- At least 1-2 years of working in a law firm on estate planning and probate law issues is necessary
- Working knowledge of title insurance, wills, trusts, property management, and residential and commercial real estate law, including litigation
- Bachelor’s degree with a legal background and J.D. degree are required
- Owning your files from intake through resolution with precision and care.
