Buyer – Procurement, Aeronautics
Located in West Hartford, CT, this full‑time position supports the supply chain of a leading aerospace system supplier for commercial and military helicopter and business jet markets.
Responsibilities- Place and authorize purchase orders within assigned limits.
- Expedite orders, track deliveries, and resolve shipping errors.
- Maintain accurate purchasing records and documentation.
- Source and purchase a variety of aerospace components, materials, supplies, and services.
- Evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery speed.
- Negotiate terms and conditions to reduce acquisition costs.
- Collaborate with engineering and production to ensure material readiness and delivery timelines.
