$21-$24 per hour
JOB SUMMARY
The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, repair and maintain property structures, minor plumbing repair, and minor electrical work in addition to performing grounds maintenance. They will also support The Village by providing courier and office support services and assistance with setting up agency events. They will work closely with other members of their team and will interact with staff at The Village to address their maintenance needs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
EDUCATION
- High school diploma or equivalent.
EXPERIENCE
- Must have valid CT driver's license, safe driving record and access to personal transportation.
- Two years' experience in an affiliated construction trade or property maintenance.
- Ability to work in a vigorously paced setting as a team member.
- Must be proactive, enthusiastic, patient, flexible, and able to handle crisis situations in a calm manner.
- Physically able to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodations, and ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 pounds.
